My name is Landry Roberts and I am a photographer and multimedia creative based in Lubbock, Texas. I am currently a senior level student studying Agricultural Communications at Texas Tech University. My primary work is in photography, videography, and graphic design. I love to use different forms of creativity together to tell the stories of my subjects.

I believe that everything I capture through a lens should tell a story. Whether that is the journey of how the photo or video was taken, or if the media shows the story of an individual.

I believe that I am always growing my skills, especially in my writing and graphic design. Outside of my work, I tend to be inspired by not only my family and my faith, but by everything around me.

Early Dove Media was created as a way to capture the beauty and meaning found in the moments that happen along my journey. What began as my final project for my photography class has grown into a family-rooted photography brand built on the values I was raised with: care, hard work, intention, and authenticity.

My mission is simple: to create images that tell a story, to document moments the way they naturally happen, and to highlight the beauty that God has placed in the world, from the soft details to the rugged edges.

Early Dove Media exists to tell stories with depth, warmth, and purpose—honoring the realness of the subject while creating work that feels timeless and genuine.

Early Dove Media is more than a brand—it’s a tribute to the people and values that shaped me.

 

The name Early Dove goes all the way back to a preschool Thanksgiving project where we created our own “Native American names.” My mom helped me choose the name Early Dove, inspired by the fact that I was born six weeks early during the start of the dove hunting season. The name stuck, and years later it became the foundation of this brand.

 

The logo tells the rest of the story.

The dove represents my mom, a teacher whose guidance, patience, and compassion taught me to pay attention to every moment in life.

The barbed wire represents my dad, whose work in the agricultural industry reflects a rugged, hardworking spirit. That grit and resilience are values I grew up with, and they’re a core part of how I approach my work.

​

Together, the dove and the barbed wire symbolize the heart of Early Dove Media: peaceful yet protective, soft yet rugged, and imaginative yet grounded, with family at the center of it all.
